Botwatch doesn't track you or sell your data.
Botwatch is built on the AT Protocol. The scores you publish live on your Personal Data Server (PDS). You own it, you control it, and you can take it with you. Botwatch caches and indexes this data. To delete it from our servers, delete it from your PDS.
A small amount of non-PDS data (things like your light/dark mode preference) is kept on our servers and can be deleted on request. Just email [email protected].
What we do store
- Session cookies — necessary for authentication. These are not used for tracking and expire when your session ends.
- Theme preference — stored in a cookie so the site remembers your light/dark mode choice.
- Cached profile data — we may temporarily cache public profile information from the AT Protocol network (display names, avatars) to improve performance.
- Server logs — standard web server logs that may include IP addresses, timestamps, and pages visited. These are used for operational purposes only and are not shared with third parties.
